What would fall be without pumpkins, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin-flavored food? America's favorite decoration, dessert, and food—gone! It might be horrible losing these favorites, but it might also be good. Pumpkins make pumpkin pie and pumpkin-flavored food, so it’s kinda bad. But pumpkin-flavored food is usually sweet, so it’s also kinda good. Let’s see if losing these favorites is good or bad.

To begin with, if we lose pumpkins, we would lose jack-o’-lanterns, the nice decoration for fall. Next, we would lose pumpkin seeds—the healthy stuff—though kids might be happy about that one. More importantly, we would be losing pumpkin pie, our favorite dessert for fall. Finally, we would be losing pumpkin DIYs. We can’t make decorations with fake people with pumpkin heads. It seems like losing these favorites is bad right now, but let’s move on and see.

Of course, if we lose pumpkin pie, there would be no more pumpkin pie dessert, a nice seasonal treat for fall. In addition, we would have one sweet gone—kids would be very sad though. Furthermore, there would be no big use for pumpkins—no millions of pumpkin pies made. Finally, people would have less sugar during fall, which is good so people won’t be “diabetic.” There are lots of good and bad things if we lose pumpkin pie, but let’s move on.
To begin with, if we lose pumpkin-flavored food, there would be no more pumpkin-spiced drinks—very unfortunate for pumpkin-spiced drink lovers. Besides, we would have no more pumpkin-flavored candy, which might not be unfortunate for a lot of people. Next, there would not be any more pumpkin spice—the powder people put on all types of food and drinks. More importantly, no more pumpkin-flavored sweets like cotton candy or Reese’s peanut butter cups with pumpkin filling. There are a lot of bad things, but let’s move on.
Now that you know that without pumpkins, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin-flavored food, things could get crazy—but maybe also good—let’s just hope they won’t go away.
